The unit still powers on to the various electrical boards, but the control panel is damaged so that you can no longer turn the heat on or the shaker on. I've spoken to Thermo Fisher, who makes the item, and they have advised me on the pieces that would need to be replaced to make this item functional, which would probably be about 00 if purchased directly from them. This item is a great purchase for someone who likes to fix things and wants to incubate anything from science experiments to kitchen experiments. It is also valuable to someone who has one of these units and needs some replacement parts
