The Beckman Coulter Type 80 Ti is a general-purpose, fixed angle rotor especially useful for pelleting subcellular particles. It is to be used in floor model preparative ultracentrifuges. The exact rotor listed is pictured above and has S/N 1294. The O-rings and overspeed disk are in great condition, and the rotor and lid show virtually no cosmetic wear.
Sealing surfaces and threads appear clean and smooth. No corrosion is evident, and the rotor has been cleaned and stored according to the manufacturer's specifications.

A note on overspeed disks:
When buying used centrifugation rotors it is important to verify that the overspeed disk at the base of the rotor is undamaged.
Placing the rotor on a surface other than the rotor stand can cause damage to the overspeed disk.
