French Pressbook Lot of 2 by Leo Joannon, Secret Of Sister Angela (Soeur Angele)

Description

Leo Joannon’s 1956 film Le Secret de Soeur Angèle came accompanied by a uniquely designed 8-page pressbook with a vellum cover (detached in this example) disguising the name of the title character until the page is turned.
Gorgeous color interior art by Rene Peron! There are a couple other treasures hidden inside, as the original owner was apparently a big enough fan to clip newspaper and magazine ads for the film.
Also included is a beautiful French pressbook for the forgotten aviation documentary, Costes et l’Atlantique.
