The compact, stand-alone M1000 Control Unit is powerful enough to maintain precise patient temperatures during lengthy and complex surgical procedures, such as open-heart surgery. The Halyard Health Patient Warming System is an innovative method of patient temperature management, designed to provide clinicians with a safe, efficient, and precise method of regulating body temperature with the goal of improving patient outcomes. The control unit draws temperature-controlled water through disposable gel pads applied directly to the patient’s body. In automatic mode, the control unit analyzes the patient’s rate of temperature change.
