All I have to do is throw on a pair of these hard cap Knee Pads and I’m never sore again. The hard polypropylene cap gives me great protection and allows me to move easily. The fabric is tough and has extra foam padding so it doesn’t dig into me. The adjustable Velcro closures make putting them on a breeze and they stay on all through the job. The pad is a little over 10 inches and the hard cap is 5 by 6 1/2 inches. That gives the knee cap plenty of protection. The best thing about these knee protectors is their low price. When we got these in I immediately put a pair in each of my vehicles. I can’t change a tire without getting on my knees. Now there is no discomfort or even dirty dress pants. They are  our lightest weight and most economical pads. But they get the job done and they are easy to store. Having them around has surely been a life saver. Needless to say they went into the RV and travel Trailer as well. Hooking up and leveling no longer leaves me sore. I tucked a pair into the boat too.
