    Unique in the noir era, and unheard of for a major motion picture, "The Thief" was shot entirely without dialogue. Nominated for five Golden Globes, including Best Picture (Drama), Best Actor (Drama) for Milland, and Most Promising Newcomer (Female) for Rita Gam.
    An American nuclear physicist (Ray Milland) attempts to flee the country when it is discovered he has been selling secrets to a foreign government.
    15 pages, saddle stapled, 11 x 17 inches. Wrappers are Near Fine, clean and bright, but almost completely separated along the hinge fold; all internal pages still attached and present. Faint horizontal fold crease at the center of the wrapper and pages with a tiny closed tear to the outer edge of the front wrapper and first leaf. Despite separation, wrappers are clean and bright.
