    This is an original approximately 33" x 23" Czech poster for this 1979 film adaptation of the Gospel According to St. Luke depicting the life of Jesus Christ.  Artwork on the poster is by artist J.S. Tamanek.
    I'd never heard of this film before but see that it was originally released in the US by Warner Bros. after being financed by the Campus Crusade For Christ.  The film has been shown in theatres, camps, and schools over the years and is know has having been viewed by probably more people than any other film in history according to the NY Times and has been dubbed into more than 1000 different languages.  There was a major re-release with added footage and sound effects on DVD and BluRay in 2015.  The poster is in fine condition (some wear along left side), rolled as originally sent out to theatres.
