Vintage Peacock Hand Carved Horn Figurine East Asian Possibly Indian 15" Long

I'm not sure exactly which country this is from, but there are many similar crane figurines and such that come from several countries in East Asia. I haven't seen a peacock made of horn listed however. Since peacocks are native to India, I would assume it would be it that country or one very nearby where peacocks also live. Has the obvious carving of feathers on the tail, and a hole at the top of its head where I assume once it had its little plume, but that has since disappeared.
